Electrode socks are a special accessory for physiotherapeutic procedures aimed at treatment and prevention of chronic diseases related to the lower extremities, as well as recovery from injuries: sports and household injuries, bruises, sprains, ankle sprains. The accessory significantly expands the possibilities of pulse electrotherapy devices, allows the most effective therapeutic effect on the problem area. PRINCIPLE OF WORK
Socks-electrodes are part of the range of accessories for pulse electrotherapy devices and have a therapeutic effect on the patient’s body by electromyostimulation – the use of electric current impulses to stimulate muscles and nerves.
Under the action of the stimulating impulse there is a contraction of smooth muscles in the vessel wall. This increases blood supply to the area, activates cellular respiration and metabolism.
